Wolfman

L'enfance de Lawrence Talbot prend fin une nuit, avec la mort de sa mère. Talbot quitte très jeune son hameau et sa vaste propriété de Blackmoor dans l'espoir de surmonter ce drame, mais ne parviendra jamais à faire son deuil.

Des années plus tard, la fiancée de son frère, Gwen Conliffe, vient lui annoncer la mystérieuse disparition de celui-ci et implorer son aide. Talbot accepte de retourner chez lui pour prendre part aux recherches et revoir son vieux père. Il ne tarde pas à apprendre qu'une créature d'une force et d'une sauvagerie sans égales rôde à la pleine lune dans les bois et a déjà égorgé des dizaines de villageois. Une vieille légende affirme ce loup-garou serait un humain… inconsolable, hanté par un passé tragique…
