Under the Shadow

Téhéran, 1988. Dans le conflit qui oppose l’Iran à l’Irak, voilà huit ans que la ville est la cible de bombardements. Après le départ de son mari au combat, Shideh doit élever seule leur fille Dorsa. Quand le toit de leur immeuble est touché par un missile qui – miraculeusement – n’explose pas, Shideh semble progressivement perdre pied au fur et à mesure du comportement de plus en plus étrange de Dorsa. Essayant de trouver un sens à ces changements soudains chez sa fille, Shideh apprend par un voisin superstitieux que ce missile a dû transporter avec lui un djinn, une force surnaturelle qui voyage avec le vent et qui cherche depuis à posséder sa fille. Shideh n’a alors d’autre choix que celui d’affronter l’esprit malveillant pour réussir à sauver Dorsa.
