Mann, de Hong Kong, est aveugle depuis l'âge de deux ans. Dix-huit ans plus tard, à la suite d'une transplantation expérimentale de la cornée, elle recouvre l'usage de ses yeux. Mais il semble que l'opération lui ait apporté plus que cela...
Une suite d'évènements inexplicables perturbent désormais son existence : des fantômes apparaissent mystérieusement. Ils semblent lui prédire les morts à venir des individus de son entourage. Ces visions cauchemardesques conduisent Mann au bord de la folie...
