Une attaque nucléaire a précipité l’Amérique dans la 3ème guerre mondiale. Face à la pénurie de carburant, la compagnie US-ident élabore un générateur d’énergie inépuisable, qui altère la réalité et va bouleverser les vies de l’acteur Boxer Santaros, de l’ex-star du X Krysta Now et des frères jumeaux Roland et Ronald Taverner, dont le destin se confond avec celui de l’Humanité toute entière…
