Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem

Quatre musiciens (Octave, chanteur et joueur de synthétiseur ; Arpegius, guitariste ; Stella, bassiste et Baryl, batteur) sont enlevés durant l'un de leurs concerts sur leur planète natale.
Ramenés sur Terre puis transformés en humains, ils deviennent des stars planétaires au sein du groupe Crescendolls.
Mais cette célébrité a un prix : ils sont contrôlés psychologiquement par le maléfique Earl de Darkwood, les privant ainsi de tout souvenir et de tout sentiment.
Avec l'aide de Shep, un extra-terrestre fan du groupe et amoureux de Stella, ils réussissent à se libérer de l'emprise de leur ravisseur et découvrent la raison de leur enlèvement : leur kidnappeur a l'intention de conquérir l'univers en utilisant les chanteurs et groupes extra-terrestres pour gagner des disques d'or. Au 5555e disque, il aura le pouvoir de réaliser son sinistre dessein.
