Flavia la défroquée

Au début du XVe siècle, la jeune Flavia, pour s’être émue du sort d'un Sarrasin mortellement blessé, est envoyée par son père dans un couvent. Elle en supporte mal les contraintes, excitée par sa sœur Livia, qui sera exécutée, et par sa sœur Agathe. L'incursion d'une troupe de Sarrasins fournit à Flavia l'occasion de retrouver sa liberté. Elle devient l’épouse d'un chef maure qui la déçoit.
