UNSOLVED MYSTERIES - BIZARRE MURDERS

Year : 2005
Country : USA
Length : 360 min
Rating : 7 / 10

SYNOPSIS

"UNSOLVED MYSTERIES", a title that may not ring a bell for us (in France) but, in the United States, it's a very well-known program (much like our "MYSTERES"; yeah you remember... it was with Jacques Pradel!) hosted by Robert Stack, a presenter whose reputation hasn't to be done beyond the Atlantic, and between other winner of an Emmy Award.

REVIEW

So it's for the first time, in DVD, that this series will appear here, classified by theme: ghosts, UFO, miracles, murders ...
For each theme, several paranormal stories, directions with actors and special effects, and some apparitions of the star presenter.
About the bizarre murders, the content is quite attracting when written, but, unfortunately, the screener, which we were sent, only has one DVD out of the four that are available in the box.

And if it's about diversity in this box, we wonder, however, if four entire DVDs, so more than 360 minutes, are really necessary... The nine stories here seem quite enough, and even if their staging is quite thought about and full of arguments thanks to diverse interventions of protagonists and witnesses, the reports aren't filled out enough to be really believable in the eye of the audience.
A shadow in the whole thing: the special effects that sometimes are really made out paranormal as they're so badly released.
As a whole, however, these series of DVD should appeal to the sci-fi and paranormal fans, and we're looking forward to the legends, the miracles, the murders and everything...
